INTERNAL
Unification
With over 140 student leaders spread out across everything from ministries to clubs, naturally, groups segment. By unifying all the groups under one vision with the purpose of serving students, ASSP can most effectively serve you.
Efficiency
$700,000 of your money funds this large organization of ASSP. I believe we can more efficiently use that money by eliminating waste and ensuring we are getting the biggest bang for your buck. This involves both fiscal management as well as performance management organization wide. For example, instead of every club buying a dozen paper plates for their event, ASSP can buy bulk paper cups from Costco and save money.
Accountability
I believe this entire organization, every student leader, is ultimately accountable to you the students. To ensure that the goals and the purposes of each group is being accomplished, I mean to hold our student leaders accountable so that we are providing the service to you we are supposed to.

EXTERNAL
Transparency
Many students don't realize how much of their money ASSP consumes and how that is being used. I mean to ensure student can check to see what ASSP is doing with their money and how it is being used.
Student Services
Our budget rivals small state institution student governments, but how much do you see? This year we've started a student discount program, Exodus, and I believe we can do more. For example, why not offer an airport shuttle service at the beginning and end of each quarter?
Interculturalism
Previously, I served on the student government of Bellevue Community College, one of the most diverse colleges in the state. From that, I believe this university and our organization needs a deeper commitment to interculturalism. I intend to see minorities better represented and an attitude of interculturalism fostered in all parties, minority and majority as well as students and faculty. For instance, a simple step is posting an articulated commitment in every classroom.
